Ingersoll Rand has launched D650S and D550S 1/2" Cordless Drill / Drivers. The D650S delivers a best-in-class power-to-weight ratio with an industry-leading 73 Nm of ideal stall torque whilst the D550S delivers an impressive 62 Nm of ideal stall torque.
The new drill / drivers have been developed to replace the D550 and D650 tools after much user feedback and consultation. Aimed at automotive and industrial professionals, the D650S and D550S have lightweight designs, weighing only 2.0 kg and respectively, yet still providing exceptional power.
The new 1/2" drill / drivers also use the latest Lithium Ion battery technology. Constructed with superior high density cell technology, all IQV batteries offer best-in-class recharge life in addition to the patent-pending IQV twistlock interface. The twist-to-lock design outperforms conventional batteries in durability and convenience by preventing normal wear and tear to mounts and clips and utilizing a universal interface.
The housings also engineered with an advanced metal-reinforced composite designed to withstand inadvertent drops and the effects of fluid and chemical spills typical in the harsh environments of manufacturing plants and automotive shops....more
