Developed in collaboration with Delhi IIT students, Notion Ink's Adam is India 's version of a Tablet. A new entrant in the tablet bandwagon, it boasts a battery life of 16 hours (160 hours when the back light is off) which is nearly double as compared to other rival products. It runs on a dual core 1 GHz processor, has a 3MP camera, and offers an amazing viewing experience with 1080p HD videos support.
It comes with Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth and makes multitasking easy and effortless. It runs Mozilla Firefox and Chrome browser, and has features like proximity sensor, an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, a touchpad and an SD card slot. Whether it meets the expectation of users or outperforms other technology will be evident after its release in the US and India in the later half of 2010.
